Learning a person's routine is, by nature, a question of probability. It improves with data and it is never perfect. We tune it conservatively and we will never quote an accuracy figure we cannot stand over.
Norse AI works from the watch's own signals, its movement, location and the time of day, to make the alert that reaches you as trustworthy as possible. It depends on the device and on mobile signal, and it is reassurance, not a guarantee.
On the app tier, fall detection is provided by your own Apple, Samsung or Google watch, which we do not control or guarantee.
